Welcome to the Blackboard e-Education platform—designed to enable educational innovations everywhere by connecting people and technology.
Notice - 03/03/2014 Update on SafeAssign status: All issues with SafeAssign appear to be resolved at this time, regardless of on campus or off campus use.
Microsoft Windows users, please note that when using the Respondus LockDown Browser or Internet Explorer with Blackboard, Internet Explorer should never be in Compatibility View. This special view is site-based, so to be sure you are not using it with Blackboard, point Internet Explorer to https://jsu.blackboard.com and look under the Internet Explorer "Tools" menu. Compatibility View should not be checked. Also, the broken page icon next to the URL address box should not be blue. Update: Also, some users may notice Compatibility View is dimmed. That means Internet Explorer is set to view all web pages in Compatibility View. In this case, go into Compatibility View Settings and remove the selection to "Display all websites in Compatibility View", then re-check the Blackboard site using the steps described above. This procedure is also relevant to users of the LockDown Browser, due to its association with Internet Explorer. Read more about Compatibility View.
Please upgrade your Respondus LockDown Browser to the newest version for proper functionality. See the Respondus LockDown Browser Update Required article on our web site for details.
